Trillium Works! hosts an inclusive book club for all lovers of books who have ever wanted to be a part of a group. Meetings occur every other week and book selections are made by club members so that we are reading something of shared interest. We always ensure that there are ways to access free copies of each selection (print, e-book, and audio) so whether you prefer to read the book or listen to the audio version you can be a part of the club.
The Trillium Works! Job Club is a great opportunity for people to gather as a group, interact with others, and learn about a variety of employment-related topics and resources. Employment applications, resume building, job search, soft skills, goal setting, networking, interviews, job success, and teamwork are just a few of the subjects that participants can learn about. In addition, job club provides the opportunity to learn about many different careers by watching videos of professionals sharing about their job responsibilities. Each meeting is a chance to develop some of the knowledge and skills required to be more successful in working towards employment goals.
